Where attorney James W. Bannen, among other transgressions, engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation in violation of SCR 20L8.4(c), and assisted a client in conduct that he knew was criminal or fraudulent in violation of SCR 20:1.2, we agree with the referee’s recommendation that Bannen’s license to practice law be suspended for three years.

So ordered.
