MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers has appointed three new University of Wisconsin System regents.
Evers announced Monday that he has appointed Karen Walsh of Madison, Edmund Manydeeds of Eau Claire and Olivia Woodmansee, a UW-La Crosse student to the board.
They will replace John Behling, Regina Millner and Ryan Ring. Their terms all expire at the end of May.
Walsh and her husband donated $10 million to the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in 2015.
Manydeeds holds a law degree from UW-Madison and served as a regent from April 2010 to May 2017. He is an attorney at Richie, Guettinger & Manydeeds in Eau Claire.
They will each serve a seven-year term.
Woodmansee will replace Ring as the traditional student representative on the board. She will serve a two-year term. Ring is a student at UW-Eau Claire.
