GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — A judge has set $5 million bond for a man accused of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her mother and injuring a third person in the Green Bay area.

Police say 25-year-old Sabrina Teague was found stabbed Tuesday night outside her home in Hobart. Her 63-year-old mother, Heesun “Sunny” Teague was found dead in a bathroom in the house. Authorities say Joel Kennedy was stabbed in the chest and arms, but is expected to survive.

WLUK-TV reports both the prosecution and defense have expressed concern about mental stability of the suspect, 26-year-old Jacob Cayer.

Brown County District Attorney David Lasee told the judge in court Thursday that the crime lab is still collecting evidence at the house, so a criminal complaint has not been filed.
