RHINELANDER, Wis. (AP) — A Kaukauna man has pleaded not guilty to burglarizing the home of two homicide victims in Oneida County.

Mark Spietz is charged with five felony charges, including theft and burglary.

WSAW-TV reports prosecutors say Spietz took property from the home of Thomas and Jennifer Ayers in September. The Ayers were killed at their house near Three Lakes in March. Jennifer Ayers’ daughter, Ashlee Martinson, is charged with the homicides and has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

Authorities say Spietz broke into the couple’s home and took property that has since been recovered. He’s also charged with using an ID to falsely obtain money.
