Man charged with 10th OWI

RHINELANDER, Wis. (AP) – A 46-year-old Rhinelander man is charged with his 10th OWI.

Robin Anderson made his first court appearance Friday afternoon in Oneida County court.

Anderson was stopped Thursday night for a taillight that was out. According to court documents, officers found an open can of beer in his car.

WSAW-TV reports Anderson’s previous convictions are from Vilas, Kenosha, Portage and Oneida counties. Anderson’s first conviction was in 1990. His most recent was 2002.

Anderson does not have a driver’s license and also was charged with operating while revoked.

He remains in jail on a $20,000 cash bond and is scheduled to return to court on Nov. 5.

The clerk of court’s office has not received notice of a defense attorney yet.
