BARRON, Wis. (AP) — The former Waupun police officer arrested in a multi-county crime spree is expected to be arraigned in Barron County.

Bradley Young is scheduled to enter a plea Wednesday to charges of fleeing from deputies and stealing a vehicle. The former lieutenant is also charged in Green Lake and Burnett counties where he’s accused of multiple crimes, including burglary.

Prosecutors say Young broke into a Berlin grocery store in June, a Piggly Wiggly grocery store in Markesan in July and a town of Green Lake restaurant in August. He was arrested at a cabin in Burnett County following a manhunt.
