MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker has re-appointed a former judge to the board that oversees state elections and ethics compliance.
The governor announced Wednesday Timothy Vocke will return to the Government Accountability Board beginning Monday and serve until May 1, 2017.
Walker originally appointed Vocke, a former Vilas County judge, to the board in June. Vocke served until December, when he resigned to run for judge in Oneida County. He came in third in a February primary, though.
Vocke will fill the vacancy he created when he resigned.
