RACINE, Wis. (AP) — A Louisiana man is charged with reckless homicide in a fatal altercation outside a bar in southeastern Wisconsin.
Prosecutors in Racine County say 32-year-old Larry Dunn of Houma, La., struck Andrew Schuckman outside Peg & Lou’s Bar & Grill in Racine early Tuesday, causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head.
A bartender told investigators he witnessed a fight earlier that night between the 37-year-old victim, who was highly intoxicated, and two other men, one later identified as Dunn. The bartender said he escorted Schuckman out of the bar. Dunn and his friend followed.
Dunn told police he tried to block a punch from Schuckman and struck him in the head.
The Racine Journal Times says Dunn was employed by a paving company, which had work in Wisconsin.
