MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Supreme Court challenger JoAnne Kloppenburg’s campaign says she hasn’t decided whether to seek a recount in her bid to upset incumbent Justice David Prosser.
Final county tallies show Prosser with a 7,316-vote lead. The conservative justice declared victory on Friday and was scheduled to address the media Monday in Madison.
Kloppenburg has until Wednesday to request a recount. The margin is close enough that the campaign wouldn’t have to cover any recount costs.
Kloppenburg’s camp said she hasn’t made a decision yet and she didn’t plan to announce any moves on Monday.
