A Grant County Circuit Court judge has been named the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Judge of the Year.
Judge Robert VanDeHey is the recipient of the 2016 Judge of the Year Award, according to a news release. He will receive his award at the State Bar’s annual meeting and conference at 5:30 p.m. on June 16 in Green Bay.
VanDeHey was appointed to the bench in 1998 by Gov. Tommy Thompson and has been re-elected three times. Before that, he spent 13 years in private practice.
