Eastern District to honor members of legal community

The Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association will be honoring several members of the legal community at its annual meeting.

The EDWBA ‘s meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. April 24 at the Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee. The association will be presenting awards during its lunch program, which starts at 11:45 a.m.

Retired U.S District Court Judge Charles Clevert of the Eastern District of Wisconsin will receive the Myron L. Gordon Lifetime Achievement Award.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barret will be presented with the Judge Robert Warren Public Service Award, and Chapter 13 Trustee Mary Grossman will be recognized with the Judge Dale E. Ihlenfeldt Bankruptcy Award.

The Nathan A. Fishbach Founder’s Award will be presented to Eastern District of Wisconsin Clerk of Court Jon San Filippo, and Quarles & Brady’s pro bono program will receive the Outstanding Service Award. Follow @erikastrebel
