Manager accused of sexual assault found dead

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (AP) — A Waukesha County restaurant manager accused of groping and making sexual comments to teenage employees has been found dead.

WISN-TV reports the Waukesha County Medical Examiner’s Office says Michael Bernicky died Sunday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A criminal complaint says the 61-year-old man managed the Great Wraps restaurant in New Berlin and was charged with two counts of misdemeanor sexual assault. The complaint says Bernicky gave the teens alcohol and groped them.
