The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Friday suspended the law license of Kenosha attorney Mark Milos for 90 days.

The suspension is reciprocal to the same sanction imposed by the Illinois Supreme Court last October.

The Wisconsin Office of Lawyer Regulation recommended the suspension based on two counts of alleged misconduct, including making false statements and using unethical methods for evidence collection in a case.

Milos, a licensed real estate broker, used his license in 2009 to enter a condominium owned by his client’s opponent in litigation and gathered evidence later used in the case, according to the Supreme Court order.

Milos then made false statements to police investigating his entrance into the Kenosha condominium, according to the order.

An attorney in Wisconsin and Illinois since 2007, Milos agreed to the recommended punishment in Wisconsin.

The Supreme Court did not impose costs of the proceedings on Milos. The 90-day suspension in Wisconsin begins on April 3.
