Man to plead guilty to sex-trafficking 3 girls

Listen to this articleMILWAUKEE (AP) – A Milwaukee man has agreed to plead guilty to federal charges of sex-trafficking three girls between Wisconsin and Illinois.
Court records filed Wednesday show that Sean D. Patrick is charged with three counts of sex trafficking of a child and a fourth charge of conspiring to sex-traffic children.
Federal prosecutors say the 37-year-old recruited girls under the age of 18 and bussed them from Milwaukee to Chicago for purposes of prostitution. They say he forced his prostitutes to work five to seven nights per week soliciting customers for paid sex.
The lightest sex-trafficking charge carries a minimum mandatory penalty of 10 years in prison, and a maximum penalty of life in prison.
A message left with Patrick’s defense attorney Wednesday was not immediately returned.
