Council considers legal action against mayor

Listen to this articleMARINETTE, Wis. (AP) — The Marinette City Council will explore hiring an outside attorney for any legal action against the mayor, recently cited for driving drunk with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.
The council Thursday night directed its personnel committee to considering hiring an attorney to deal with any complaint against Mayor Robert Harbick. The mayor hit a light pole with his car in downtown Marinette July 2 and was arrested.
WLUK-TV says some council members have called for the mayor’s resignation, but he’s refused to step down.
