MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Milwaukee man has been charged with opening fire in a restaurant, killing one man and critically injuring his brother.
Twenty-six-year-old Frank J. Brown was charged Friday with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
According to the criminal complaint, Brown and two friends were at the restaurant Tuesday about 1 a.m. when 31-year-old Luis E. Santiago came up and drank Brown’s beer.
When investigators asked Brown what happened next, he said, “Did you see the (surveillance) video? That’s what happened.”
Prosecutors say he admitted shooting both Santiago and Santiago’s brother twice. The complaint says Brown went home, and when he woke up and saw news of the homicide he threw the gun into Lake Michigan.
Online court records didn’t list a defense attorney for Brown on Saturday.
