Insurance Claim – Breach of Duty to Defend
This case involves issues of insurance coverage and the duty to defend involving Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) and insurance companies, Greenwich Insurance Company and Steadfast Insurance Company, relating to the defense of lawsuits against MMSD in the wake of a June 7 and 8, 2008 rain event (the “rain event lawsuits”).

A jury convicted Justin Van Dera of homicide by negligent use of a motor vehicle, operating after revocation, second-degree recklessly endangering safety, obstructing an officer, and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

Talaga with one count of conspiracy to commit health-care fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1349, six counts of health-care fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1347, and three counts of falsifying a matter or providing false statements, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1035(a).
