Ovbiagele honored as ABA Top 40 Young Lawyer

The American Bar Association has selected Milwaukee lawyer Emil Ovbiagele as an On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers. The organization’s Young Lawyers Division announced its selection of 40 ABA young lawyer members Friday. A selection committee made up of practicing attorneys from private practice and in-house positions reviews nominations.

Ovbiagele is the founder of OVB Law & Consulting. Based in Milwaukee, he represents clients in civil litigation and employment law matters, also counseling closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs.  A Marquette Law School graduate, Ovbiagele is now an adjunct professor at the Law School.

In 2017, Ovbiagele was honored as an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal. He recently completed his term as vice president of the Milwaukee Bar Association and assumed his role as president-elect. Ovbiagele is a member of other organizations like Wisconsin Association for African American Lawyers, MKE Excellence Charter School’s board of directors and a former president for the State Bar’s Young Lawyer Division.
