Hupy secures $25K for crash victim’s injuries

Hannah Dockendorff of Hupy and Abraham recently reached a $25,000 settlement for a woman injured in a car crash. Their client was driving on Hampton Avenue near the intersection of 20th Street in Milwaukee. The plaintiff’s driver’s side was T-boned by the defendant, who failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign. The plaintiff struck her head against the car’s interior during the collision, sustaining injuries causing headaches, neck and lower back pain.

The plaintiff’s medical bills totaled about $15,000 and largely involved chiropractic treatment. The insurance carrier was State Farm.

The matter was resolved via mediation on Jan. 21.
