Evers seeks applicants for Winnebago County district attorney

Gov. Tony Evers is seeking applicants for Winnebago County District Attorney.

District Attorney Christian Gossett’s resignation, effective May 7, will create the vacancy. The new district attorney will serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending in January 2025.

Applications are being accepted through Friday, March 18.

To apply, please email a completed application form and supporting materials to GovDAapp@wisconsin.gov. The application is available on the “Apply to Serve” page of Gov. Evers’ website at www.evers.wi.gov.
