Settlement reached in 2018 Beloit car crash

A $28,000 settlement has been reached in a car crash case from late 2018.

On or about Dec. 31, 2018, a Hupy and Abraham client was the passenger of a vehicle traveling northbound on Cranston Road, at or near the intersection with Sutler Avenue, in Beloit. At that same time and place, the defendant was the operator of a motor vehicle traveling southbound on Cranston Road, when he collided with the first vehicle, causing both vehicles to strike a third party’s vehicle, causing injuries and damages. The client had soft tissue injuries consisting of lower back pain, and also had right ankle and right knee pain and a left shoulder contusion.

Hupy and Abraham’s Hannah Dockendorff represented the plaintiff. The insurance carrier was Mid-Century Insurance Co.
