With more than 25 years in the industry, Sarah Breunig has knowledge of trusts and estates that is unparalleled, her colleagues say.

Breunig, senior paralegal on Neider & Boucher’s Trust and Estates Team, is always eager to spread to others the knowledge that she’s gained through the years with her fellow employees and junior associates. Some people refer to her as a “walking encyclopedia.”

“The attorney staff who work with Sarah often tell me that she is invaluable to their practice,” said Terri Neider, a member of the firm’s leadership team. “Despite an overwhelming amount of work delegated to Sarah, she consistently meets established deadlines day in and day out. She goes the extra mile without having to be asked.”

Breunig works closely with her clients to assist them with estate planning, helping to draft and edit estate planning documents and correspondence. She also works with attorneys to provide customized client service.

“Sarah’s client service skills are exemplary,” said Neider. “She is one of the most professional, positive-minded people I know, and she always greets you with a smile on her face. Her efforts not only benefit our clients, but they also set an example for all of her co-workers, and we are inspired to follow her lead.”

Breunig received an associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College and a paralegal degree from Madison Area Technical College. It was at Moraine Park where Breunig first became interested in the legal field.

“It developed from there,” she said. “I liked the idea of gathering information and assisting with the creation of documents to help people.”

Breunig said that one of the hardest parts of her job is the need to find time to get everything done.

“I’m constantly busy and the day goes by fast,” she said.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog, reading and enjoying “all things British.
