More law librarians are using Zoom online videoconferencing to talk to patrons working from a distance, according to the 2020 Law Library Benchmarks report.

Primary Research Group found about 55% of the survey respondents were using Zoom to help their law libraries deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group conducted interviews with staff at 35 law libraries in North America about a range of topics, including COVID-19’s effects, spending on books, online law-content databases, staffing and the use of artificial intelligence to search for legal information.

The infographic below illustrates a few of the 137-page report’s findings. The entire report can be found for purchase here.
