Applicants wanted for Dane, Marathon County circuit courts

Listen to this articleState officials are accepting applications for open seats on the Dane and Marathon county circuit courts.
Dane County Circuit Court Branch 7 has a vacancy created by Judge William Hanrahan’s resignation. Whoever replaces him will serve until July 31, 2021.
Marathon County Circuit Court Branch 1 has an opening created by Judge Jill Falstad’s resignation, which goes into effect July 3, 2020. The new judge will complete a term ending July 31. 2021.
Applications for both positions can be found online. All applicants should submit materials to [email protected]. The deadline for submission for the Dane County position is April 27. The deadline for Marathon County is May 4.
