Karofsky gains judicial endorsements in 2020 Supreme Court race

Listen to this articleDane County circuit court judge Jill Karofsky has gained more endorsements in her 2020 race for a seat on the state Supreme Court. She said on Monday that 48 Wisconsin judges are supporting her campaign.
Karofsky announced her candidacy in May. She’s running for the seat now occupied by the conservative justice Dan Kelly.
Her campaign sent out a list of endorsements from current and former justices Monday. It included six Court of Appeals judges from districts III and IV and 42 circuit judges. In October, she said 20 state lawmakers also were endorsing her run.
Karofsky’s opponent Kelly,announced his bid for re-election in May. Also in the race is the Marquette University Law School professor Ed Fallone. Follow @WLJReporter
