MBA Pro Bono Publico honors Foley & Lardner lawyer, Marquette Law student

The Milwaukee Bar Association will honor a Foley & Lardner LLP attorney, a Marquette Law School student and a legal clinic supporting survivors of sexual violence with its annual Pro Bono Publico awards. The awards recognize outstanding pro bono work in the Milwaukee area.

Tanya O’Neill of Foley & Lardner LLP is the attorney honoree this year. The MBA cited her advocacy for Milwaukee residents and her commitment to fighting people who are trying to benefit from fraud.

The MBA is also recognizing Shelby Hahn, a student at Marquette Law School, for her commitment to people served by the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic and its Student Advisory Board.

LOTUS Legal Clinic is being honored for providing direct, comprehensive legal services and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence.

The MBA will honor the recipients at its 16th Annual State of the Court Luncheon Oct. 8 at the Wisconsin Club.
