Children’s court seeks applications for appointment in CHIPS cases

Any attorney interested in serving as an Intake Attorney for 2020-2021 and taking appointments representing parents in child in need of protection and services cases should submit a letter expressing his/her interest along with a resume outlining his/her experience in guardian ad litem or juvenile justice matters no later than Monday, Sept. 30.

Attorneys will be expected to sign an affidavit stating that he/she meets the Intake Attorney Standards and carries a minimum of $250,000 in malpractice insurance. To receive an emailed copy of the standards and affidavit, send an email to [email protected].

To be considered for inclusion on the list, all documents must be received no later than 4 p.m. Sept. 30. Emailed documents will be accepted.
