Gov. Tony Evers is seeking applicants for a judge position on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.

The appointee would fill a vacancy in District 1, which covers only Milwaukee County. The vacancy will open up when Judge Kitty Brennan retires on Sept. 6. Whoever Evers appoints will serve until July 31, 2020, the end of Brennan’s term, and may choose to run for election.

Applicants have until 5 p.m. on June 10 to submit an application and can call the Office of Legal Counsel at 608-266-1212 with any questions.
