Peterson the ‘glue’ that holds firm together

In the more than 20 years LuAnn Peterson has worked for Boardman & Clark, she has proved herself to be an asset to the company’s day-to-day operations.

She regularly combines her knowledge of the law with her understanding of the firm’s internal workings. Her goal is always to advance projects efficiently and effectively, preventing them from losing momentum and becoming stagnant.

“I enjoy being part of a team that provides quality service to our clients,” Peterson said. “Boardman also encourages us to get involved in our community and provides us opportunities to do so. I’m grateful to have a great work-life balance. I’m honored to be recognized for what I consider to be just doing my job. I’m only as good as those I’m surrounded by, and I have been fortunate to learn from the best.”

Peterson is also able to adapt to any change that comes her way, foreseeing the next steps of projects so she can complete complex tasks with painstaking care. She is open to learning new things and willing to teach others.

She also gives freely of her time to attend events and functions taking place outside regular business hours and is the driving force behind the firm’s sustainability committee, where she has gone to great lengths to organize food programs and lunches.

Peterson doesn’t just take on projects or attend meetings out of a sense of duty. Her enthusiasm for her work is genuine.

“She is meticulous, has superb organizational skills, maintains a great attitude and is always willing to take on difficult tasks,” said Alexis Wells, marketing associate at Boardman & Clark. “We’d be lost without her.”
