Gov. Scott Walker has appointed a Milwaukee lawyer to fill an open seat on the Racine County Circuit Court bench.
Walker announced on Friday that he had chosen Jon Frederickson to replace Judge Charles Constantine, who is retiring.
Fredrickson, who earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1999, is a shareholder at Milwaukee-based Kravit Hovel & Krawczyk. He has spent 19 years representing businesses and people in civil-litigation matters.
Fredrickson has worked for Kravit Hovel & Krawczyk since 2001. Before that, he was an associate and law clerk at Milwaukee-based Crivello Carlson. Follow @erikastrebel
