Gov. Scott Walker has appointed a long-time Osseo criminal defense attorney to the top prosecutor spot in Buffalo County.
Walker announced last week that Thomas Bilski will fill a spot left vacant by Buffalo County District Attorney Thomas Clark, who was recently elected to be a judge.
Bilski, who earned his law degree from St. Paul-based William Mitchell College of Law in 1989, has primarily practiced criminal defense for the last 29 years at his firm, Bilski & Associates, out of Osseo. He is also a court commissioner for Trempealeau County.Follow @erikastrebel
