The Wisconsin Supreme Court is looking for volunteers to serve on various committees and boards that help the court system.

To volunteer, a person can be a lawyer or nonlawyer. The positions are filled as they are needed and resumes are kept on file.

For more information or to submit a resume to the Clerk of Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, visit the court’s participation web page.

The Supreme Court Appointment Selection Committee makes recommendations to the court.  From those selections, the justices make appointments to several boards and committees, including the State Bar Board of Governors and the Wisconsin Judicial Commission, which investigates allegations of judicial misconduct.

The justices also appoint volunteers to serve on the Wisconsin Access to Justice Commission, which is charged with finding ways to expand civil legal representation for poor Wisconsin residents. For more information about any of these volunteer opportunities, contact Anna Yarish (608) 266-1298 or [email protected].
