Walker appoints new Waushara County DA

Gov. Scott Walker has appointed a new top prosecutor for Waushara County.

Walker on Tuesday announced that Steven Anderson would take the spot of Waushara County District Attorney Scott Blader, who was appointed U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin and confirmed by the U.S. Senate last year.

In addition to managing the operations and caseload for the Waushara County District Attorney’s Office since Blader’s appointment, Anderson has been assistant district attorney in Waushara County for five years.

Anderson, a Wautoma resident, earned his law degree in 2012 from Northern Illinois University School of Law in DeKalb, Ill.
