Former AG joins Michael Best & Friedrich

Former Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen has joined Michael Best & Friedrich’s lobbying and consulting affiliate, Michael Best Strategies.

The firm announced Friday that Van Hollen will lead its Attorneys General Practice, work with all its clients and have a presence at all the firm’s offices.

Van Hollen, who earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin in Law School in 1990, was Wisconsin’s attorney general from 2007 to 2015. Before that, he was U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin.

Michael Best Strategies has offices in Washington, D.C.; Chicago; Milwaukee; Madison; Austin; Denver; and Salt Lake City.
