Plaintiff’s bar to honor lawyers, paralegal

The Wisconsin Association for Justice is recognizing lawyers from around the state at a seminar and meeting.

WAJ is holding its 2017 Presidents’ Dinner and Reception at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the Pfister Hotel, 424 E. Wisconsin Ave. , Milwaukee. A ticket to the reception costs $25. A dinner ticket goes for $75. The event is part of the association’s Winter Seminar and Annual Meeting, which runs from Dec. 15 to Dec. 16.

These lawyers will be recognized:

•  Christine Bremer Muggli of Bremer & Trollop Law Offices, Wausau, will receive the 2017 President’s Award
• Al Foeckler of Cannon & Dunphy, Brookfield, and Tim Andringa of Cramer Multhauf & Hammes, Waukesha, will receive the Robert L. Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year Honorees
• Brian Laule of Bye, Goff & Rohde of River Falls, will receive the Outstanding Young Trial Lawyer

The winder of the Paralegal of the Year Award, Elaine Jensen of Axley Brynelson, Madison, will be honored at the conference’s opening, at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 15. Follow @erikastrebel
