Walker seeking applicants for spot on Price County bench

Gov. Scott Walker is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Price County Circuit Court.

Walker announced on Thursday that his office is taking applications until 5 p.m. Sept. 8. Those interested should submit a cover letter, resume, two writing samples and a judicial application that can be found on www.walker.wi.gov.

All materials must be sent in by email to govjudicialappointments@wisconsin.gov. Applicants with questions about the process should email their questions to govjudicialappointments@wisconsin.gov.

The appointee will take the place of Judge Douglas Fox, who is resigning Oct. 6. The seat is up for election in April 2018.
