The Director of State Courts Office will be organizing court-interpreter training in Wisconsin Rapids this month.

The training sessions, which are for people interested in learning the basics of court interpreting, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 24 and June 25 at the Hotel Mead Conference Center, 451 E. Grand Ave.

The office is accepting application until Friday from people who want to attend the training. The sessions cost $195, an amount that covers the cost of lunch and all training materials. Scholarships may be available.
