Milwaukee Bar Association to honor four practitioners

The Milwaukee Bar Association will be honoring three members of the legal community at its annual meeting.

The association announced Tuesday that the practitioners will be recognized on May 16 at Miller Park in Milwaukee.

The honorees are:

  • retired Foley & Lardner attorney Nancy Sennet, who will receive the MBA’s Lifetime Achievement Award;
  • Marcia Facey Drame, of Northwestern Mutual, who is being given the Distinguished Service Award;
  • Janet Schultz Nelson, of Milwaukee County Child Support, who will receive the E. Michael McCann Distinguished Public Service Award; and
  • Maggie Niebler-Brown, of Legal Action of Wisconsin, who will receive the Lawyer of the Year award.

Also at the meeting, Shannon Allen of DeWitt Ross & Stevens will take the oath of office to become MBA president.
