Marquette Law School hosting national security conference

Marquette University Law School will be holding a national security conference featuring Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn and former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey.

The conference — National Security, Individual Liberty and You — will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St., according to a news release.

The conference will cover the national security issues that arise in the wake of 9/11.

The conference is supported by Marquette Law School’s Lubar Fund for Public Policy Research and is cosponsored by the Milwaukee Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society and the Milwaukee Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
