Jason James appeals the circuit court’s judgment of restitution and an order denying his postconviction motion for relief, both entered following James’ conviction on three counts of manufacture or delivery of heroin. James argues that, for various reasons, the circuit court lacked authority to order that James pay restitution to the mother of the person who fatally overdosed on heroin that James delivered to an individual who delivered the heroin to the deceased. James also argues that he is entitled to a new sentencing hearing. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
