Venue: WI Court of Appeals – District I
Case Name: State of Wisconsin v. M.K.
Case No.: 2015AP2098
Officials: KESSLER, J.
M.K. appeals from the order terminating her parental rights to her son, M.K.-K. She also appeals from the order denying her postdispositional motion.2 M.K. contends that the petition to terminate her parental rights should be dismissed because the September 4, 2013 order extending the original CHIPS dispositional order did not contain all of the conditions she needed to meet for the return of her child. She also argues that: the trial court erred when it entered a directed verdict on the first special verdict question (“Question 1”); she was denied her right to a fair trial as a result of the directed verdict; and counsel was ineffective. We reject all of M.K.’s arguments and affirm.
