A federal judge has sentenced a seventh person for heroin charges stemming from a single drug-trafficking investigation.
On Friday, U.S. District Judge William Conley sentenced Hannah Hovick of Marshfield to 30 months in federal prison for distributing heroin, according to a news release. She pleaded guilty Feb. 16.
Hovick is one of six others sentenced following a heroin-trafficking investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force.
The investigation also yielded charges against four Milwaukee men for conspiring to distribute more than 1,000 grams of heroin. Their trial is set for July 25.
