The Office of Lawyer Regulation will be holding two trust-account management seminars that will count toward lawyers’ continuing legal-education requirements.
The seminars, which each cost $50, will cover topics such as basic trust-account management, obligations as a fiduciary, recordkeeping, electronic banking and handling legal fees and costs.
The seminars will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 29 and Sept. 30 at the Symposium Room of the Comfort Inn, 4822 E. Washington Ave., Madison. Check-in will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The seminar costs $50 and will be worth four continuing legal-education hours. The deadline for registration and payment is April 25 for the first seminar and Sept. 26 for the second seminar.
