CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) — Chippewa County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a second “person of interest’ in the fatal shooting of an Eau Claire man.
The body of 31-year-old Kenneth Patterson was found in the front yard of a residence in the Town of Eagle Point on Monday. Sheriff James Kowalczyk says Patterson had been shot once.
The Chippewa Herald (http://bit.ly/1Uay2jb ) reports that on Tuesday, police investigated a report of multiple gunshots in downtown Chippewa Falls.
A 20-year-old man who lives in that area is someone investigators would like to question in Patterson’s death. A second man described as a “person of interest” in Patterson’s death is being held in the Chippewa County Jail on a probation hold.
