MADISON, Wis. (AP) — New campaign finance reports show state Supreme Court hopeful JoAnne Kloppenburg is outpacing rival Joe Donald in fundraising.
Reports covering the month of January were due to the state Government Accountability Board on Monday. Kloppenburg’s report shows she had about $269,000 on hand as of Feb. 1. She raised about $55,925. Donald had $206,800 in the bank and raised about $35,700.
Incumbent Justice Rebecca Bradley’s report shows she had $107,880 on hand and raised $87,920.
Bradley, Donald and Kloppenburg will face off in a Feb. 16 primary. The top two vote-getters will advance to the April 5 general election.
