The Wisconsin State Bar is hosting its first event to bring together experts in science, business and law.
The Biotech and the Law Conference will be held from May 5-7 mainly at Monona Terrace in Madison, although some events will take place in other parts of the city, according to a news release.
The speakers will include representatives of the federal government, research universities, biotech businesses and legal scholars.
Those who attend will participate in hands-on science labs, listen to moderated discussions about global business in different industries and have the opportunity to earn continuing legal-education credits.
Early registration for the conference is open, and those who register before Jan. 1 will get a $200 registration discount. Visit biotechandthelaw.org for more information.
