A federal grand jury has indicted an Appleton man for possessing and distributing child pornography.
The jury returned the indictment Tuesday, according to a news release. Larry Turk, 68, was charged with one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
According to the indictment, Turk used a computer to distribute and store child pornography with children as young as 3-years-old engaging in sexually explicit acts with adults.
If convicted of distribution, Turk faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, lifetime supervised release and a $250,000 fine. Turk could also net up to 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release on the possession charge. Follow @erikastrebel
