RACINE, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say the Racine County Courthouse has reopened after being evacuated because of a bomb threat.
The courthouse was closed until 1 p.m. Monday while deputies searched the building. The sheriff’s office says deputies found nothing.
Attorney Toni Young tells The Journal Times that they were instructed to leave the courthouse about 8:30 a.m. Monday, but were not told why.
Authorities are still trying to determine who made the threat.
