NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (AP) — A Clark County woman has been sentenced to seven years in prison for trying to hire someone to kill the fathers of her two grandchildren.

Forty-seven-year-old Shari Klimmer will also serve nine years of probation after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit first-degree intentional homicide. According to a criminal complaint, Klimmer offered an informant $10,000 to kill the fathers of her daughter’s two children.

The Wausau Daily Herald says Klimmer’s 22-year-old daughter, Porscha Rizzi, earlier pleaded guilty to the same charge. Authorities say she offered the informant $600 to kill the father of one of her children. Rizzi will be sentenced Sept. 22.
