U.S. Attorney James Santelle is retiring.
Santelle is stepping down from his post at the U.S. Eastern District of Wisconsin after five years on the job, according to a statement released Thursday. He has spent 30 years with the U.S. Department of Justice, according to the release.
Santelle graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1983 and started his career as judicial clerk for U.S. District Judge Robert Warren.
